PUTHAT 2022 Schedule Changed, Application Date Extended
2022-06-19The schedule of PUTHAT-2022 (Panjab University Tourism & Hospitality Entrance Test has been revised – the application last date having been extended and the test has been postponed by over 15 days. PUTHAT is a common entrance test for admission to Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) courses conducted by Punjab University.
Panjab University established 130 years ago is in Chandigarh. The University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism (UIHMT) that offers these programs was established in 2009.
The selection process for BHCMT & BTTM is as follows:
- Entrance test that includes aptitude, current affairs, general awareness, reasoning ability, and hospitality industry awareness.
- Candidates who have been shortlisted must undergo counseling.
- The percentage weightage is based on achieving a minimum of 15% (cut off) aggregate of maximum marks in the test as a whole.
- The total intake across the university is around 99 candidates.
