AMU Own Entrance 2022 And Also CUET-Based Courses

Aligarh Muslim University has decided to adopt CUET-UG only for select 6 courses. For the rest, it shall continue its past practice of granting admissions through its own independent Entrance Test.

For 2022 entrance tests, the application process is ongoing.

(a) B.Tech

Apply by 28 May (by 21 May without late fee)

Entrance exam on 31 July

(b) BA (Hons)

Apply by 24 May (17 May without late fee)

Entrance exam on 3 July

(c) BA-LLB

Apply by 24 May (17 May without late fee)

Entrance exam on 31 July

(d) BCom

Apply by 24 May (17 May without late fee)

Entrance exam on 3 July

(e) BA Foreign Languages

Apply by 24 May (17 May without late fee)

Entrance exam on 16 July

Courses in which admission is through CEUT-UG : Admission in following courses shall be based on merit obtained in CUET-UG being conducted by NTA.

1. BSc (Hons) Home Science (8 Semester)

2. BA (Hons / research – Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit (8 Semester)

3. BA (Hons / Research) Women’s Studies (8 Semester)

4. BVoc (Production Technology) (6 Semester)

5. BVoc (Polymer & Coating Technology) (6 Semester)

6. BVoc (Fashion Design & Garment Technology) (6 Semester)

Important note about CEUT-UG related application for AMU : Please note that AMU prospectus clearly states that for CUET-UG based courses one has to apply in CUET-UG (on NTA portal) and also do the following:

Fill Online Application Form of Aligarh Muslim University on the website: www.amucontrollerexams.com for the concerned Course of Study specifying CUET Application number in AMU Application Form.”

CUET-UG last date of application (on NTA portal) is 22 May.
