Round-2 Applications for Srishti-Manipal Design Programs In-progress
2022-05-06Round-2 admissions to the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education MAHE (also known as Manipal University), that offers two professional UG programs is currently ongoing:
1. Bachelor of Design (4 years)
2. Bachelor of Fine Arts (4 years) 
Courses offered in B.Des: Business Services and System Design, Creative and Applied Computation, Creative Education, Human-Centered Design, Industrial Arts and Design Practices, Information Arts and Information Design Practices, Public Space Design, Visual Communication, and Strategic Branding
Courses offered in B.F.A: Contemporary Art Practice with specialization option in Experimental Media Arts, Creative Writing, Digital Media Arts, Film
Admission Procedure:
- The Institute conducts the Srishti Entrance & Aptitude Test (SMEAT-2022) for admission to B.Des & B.F.A.
- There are two tests that candidates would need to take as part of SMEAT-2022: Test-1 (General Ability Test) and Test-2 (Theme & Context-based Test)
Note: Candidates who have secured UCEED 2022 rank below 600 or with SAT (taken between March 2021 & June 2022) with a composite score is 1100 or above are exempted from Test-1 of SMEAT-2022.
The institute holds two rounds of admissions. While the first round is over, the 2nd round application slots for B.Des & B.F.A. through SMEAT-2022 are open
