Dates Changed, JEE Mains 2022 Now In June and July
2022-04-07Owing to public requests, JEE (Mains) 2022 dates have been postponed National Testing Agency (NTA) to June and July. NTA had earlier changed the exam dates such that the Session I exam was to start on 21 April.
This year, the JEE Mains will be conducted in 2 Sessions. The application schedule for second session will be announced separately.
Entrance exam Session 1 : 20 Jun to 29 Jun 2022
Applications for Session 2 : To be announced afresh
Entrance exam Session 2 : 21 Jul to 30 Jul 2022
Entrance exams clashing with JEE (Mains) Session 1 : It may please be noted that the Session 1 dates of JEE (Mains) clash / overlap the dates of three other Engineering Entrance Exams namely BITSAT (20 to 26 Jun), KEAM (26 Jun) and SITEEE (26 Jun).

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination
Only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or those who are appearing in Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2022, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2022.
Candidates who passed Class 12/equivalent examination in 2019 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2022.
