CSAB Special Rounds 2021: Apply From 28 to 30 Nov
2021-11-24The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) shall conduct two special rounds for which FRESH REGISTRATION is mandatory. These special rounds will be conducted only for NITs, IIITs, IIEST and other GFTIs (Except IITs) after completion of all the JoSAA Rounds.

1. Display of Vacancies after JoSAA rounds: 27th Nov 2021
2. Registration, Payment of Participation/Processing Fee and Choice Filling STARTS: 28th Nov 2021
3. Registration, Payment of Participation/Processing Fee and Choice Filling ENDS: 30th Nov 2021
4. Display of Seat Allotment Result Special Round-I: 2nd Dec 2021
5. Exercising options: 2nd Dec 2021 (1700 Hrs) to 4th Dec (1200 Hrs)
A) Exercising any one of the following options based on the outcome of Special Round-I
a) FREEZE/SLIDE/FLOAT (OR)
b) Surrender Allotted Seat and Participating in Next Round (OR)
c) Surrender Allotted Seat and NOT Participating in Next Round (OR)
d) Not allotted any seat at the end of special round-I, and NOT WIILING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SPECIAL ROUND – II
B) Online reporting: Seat Acceptance Fee payment /Document upload/Response by candidate to query (if required)
6. Last day to respond to query (Special Round I): 5th Dec 2021 Till 14:00 hrs
7. Display of Seat Allotment Result – Special Round-II: 7th Dec 2021
8. Online reporting: Seat Acceptance Fee payment /Document upload / Response by candidate to query (if required): 7th Dec (1200 Hrs) to 9th Dec 2021 (1200 Hrs)
9. Last day to respond to query (Special Round II): 9th Dec 2021 (Thu) Till 17:00 hrs
10. Reporting at Allotted Institute for all candidates of CSAB Special Round I & II who have confirmed their seats: 7th Dec 2021 to 13th Dec 2021 (1700 Hrs)
