BFUHS Opens Applications For Punjab MBBS, BDS Counselling 2021
2021-11-21Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Faridkot (Punjab) invites applications from eligible candidates for Centralized Counseling for admission in MBBS and BDS courses in Govt and Private colleges of Punjab. Combined counseling shall be conducted by BFUHS for all the Medical & Dental colleges including under Private Universities and Minority Institutions in the State of Punjab.
Domicile and relaxation thereof -
A) The candidate should be a permanent resident of Punjab (BDS open to non-Punjab candidates, subject to availability).
B) Additionally, the following candidates are also eligible :
a) Wards of Defence personnel posted in Punjab
b) Candidates seeking admission under NRI quota
c) Candidates of minority community who are competing for minority quota in minority institutions
d) Children / Wards / Dependents (whose parents are not alive) of all those regular Central Govt employees, employees of Boards / Corporation / Statutory Boards of the Central Govt who have remained posted inside Punjab for at least 2 years out of the 3 years preceding year of passing 10+2 examination but were posted outside Punjab for some time during these three years due to which their children / wards / dependents have passed Class XI and/or XII or equivalent qualifying examinations from outside Punjab. However, those who remained posted in Punjab continuously for these three years shall not be entitled to be exempted as they are equally placed with other Punjab Govt employees posted in Punjab.
Non-Punjab Candidates : In case adequate number of candidates are not available for BDS course, then other States� candidates may be considered as per NEET merit.

Candidates need to register Online on University website www.bfuhs.ac.in. Details of colleges /seats etc can be checked on institute website.
Start of Online registration: 19 Nov 2021
Last date to apply and pay fee: 28 Nov 2021
Verification of eligibility & documents: 30 Nov to 2 Dec 2021
Display of provisional merit list: 3 Dec 2021
