Girls Eligible In NDA, Apply By 8 Oct
2021-10-03In a major historic development, opening new vistas for female students, Union Public Service Commission recently opened the online portal inviting applications for selection in National Defence Academy (NDA) from UNMARRIED WOMEN candidates ONLY who are otherwise eligible in terms of nationality, age, marital status, educational qualification, etc.

Start date of applications: 24 Sep 2021
Last date to apply: 8 Oct 2021 (by 6PM)
Date of selection test: 14 Nov 2021
Girls’ entry in NDA comes in compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s interim direction permitting women candidates to take part in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021.
It may be noted that the admission of the women candidates in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 will remain provisional and subject to the final outcome of the WP (C). No.1416/2020 or such other order(s) as may be passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and action by the Government of India in the matter.
Application fee : Women candidates are exempt from payment of application fee
How to apply
1. Online Application Form is available in English and in Hindi Language but it can only be filled in English Language.
2. The filling of online application contains two parts.
a) In Part I registration, candidate will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidate will be prompted to check the details and make correction, if any, in the application.

b) Part-II Registration consists of filling up Payment details (except for fee exempted candidates), uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of examination centre and Agreeing to Declaration.
Registration of Part-I & Part-II will be treated as valid from 24-09-2021 to 08-10-2021 (6:00 P.M.).
