CAUTION: Fake News About MHT-CET-2021 on Social Media
2021-09-07The Commissioner of State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has issued a clarification notice on 5 Sep stating that a schedule for CET Examinations is being circulated on social media which is fake. It has clarified that the schedule of CET 2021 is not yet declared by the competent authority. All aspirants are advised no to be misled by such notifications.

MHT-CET is conducted for admission in First Year of 4 Year Duration Full Time Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, 6 Year Duration Full Time Under Graduate Degree course in Pharm D and First Year of 4 Year Full Time Under Graduate Professional Degree courses in Agriculture Universities of Maharashtra.

MHT-CET Pattern & Marking scheme
a) There is no change in the test pattern and marking scheme.
b) For PCM - This paper is having 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Mathematics. First 90 minutes Physics and chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of first 90 minutes’ time Physics-Chemistry group will be auto submitted and Mathematics group will be enabled with 90 minutes’ duration.
c) For PCB - This paper is having 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Biology. First 90 minutes Physics and chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of time response for Physics-Chemistry group will be auto submitted and Biology group will be enabled with 90 minutes’ duration.
d) There will be 50 questions each in Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology) / Maths - sections to be attempted depends upon the subject combination applicable (PCM / PCB as stated above).
e) Each questions in Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology carries 1 mark while in Maths, each question carries 2 marks.
f) There will be no Negative Marking
g) The questions will be mainly application based.
h) Difficulty level will be at par with JEE (Main) for PCM and at par with NEET for Biology.
i) There will be no questions from 2020-21 syllabus of Standard XII which was deleted by Maharashtra Rajya Pathyapustak Nirmiti va Abhyaskram Sanshodhan Mandal due to Covid-19.
