SPUP Jodhpur Starts 2021 Applications For BA Security Mgmt
2021-08-19Sardar Patel University of Police, Security & Criminal Justice (SPUP), a State University, established by the Govt. of Rajasthan in 2012 has started accepting online applications for its national level entrance test SPUP-SecurityMgmt for 2021 admissions in its niche UG courses.
Course offered: (a) BA in Security Management (b) BA any 3 subjects from History / Pol Sc / Sociology / Police Administration)
Note: As per Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989, Dated: L418h989, for Sub Inspector recruitment:- "Candidates holding Degree or Diploma in Criminology or NCC 'C' Certificate or who have offered Police Administration as one of the papers for the degree examination may be given weight."

Basis of admission: The selection for the candidates will be based on the performance in the Entrance Examination.
Change in entrance exam : Till last year (2020), the admissions were granted through the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) which was conducted for admission in 14 central and 4 state universities/institutes. However, in 2021, SPUP has decided not to be in the ambit of CUCET and will conduct its own entrance exam by itself
