NSUT Delhi : LAST DAY To Apply For B.FTech 2021 Admission

Applications for 2021 admissions in 4 Year Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F Tech.) programme offered by Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, are in progress and shall close on 10 Aug (11.59PM). NSUT has been established as State University by the Government of NCT of Delhi and is regarded as one of the premier Technical Universities of India. NSUT was upgraded from “Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology” (NSIT) in 2018, tracing back 37 years of glorious history of nurturing some of the finest minds in the country.

Intake

a) Total seats : 60 (51 Delhi quota seats and 9 Outside Delhi quota seats)

The total of 60 seats for the B.FTech course shall be equally split in two categories:

1. Science with Mathematics Stream - 30 seats

2. All other Streams - 30 seats

In all other streams, students from any stream are eligible to apply. However, in the event of non- fulfilment of seats in any one category, students from the other category shall be considered to complete the total strength of intake under that category.NSUT BFTech 2021 Admissions

b) A candidate passing the 12th (10+2) class examination from a recognized School/ College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.

c) A candidate passing the 12th (10+2) class examination from a recognized School / College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

d) For a candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya, Delhi / National Institute of Open School, Delhi (NIOS), the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his/her centre of examination.

Eligibility & selection criteria

A) Science with Mathematics Stream (30 seats)

First preference

Candidates securing a rank in a National Level “Fashion Technology / Design” Entrance Examination (for a four Year Course) of any Central (“Government of India”) funded Institute/University for the session 2021-22.

AND

In case of a candidate appearing in “more than one” national examination in “Fashion Technology / Design”, the “best rank” in the national level examinations of the candidate shall be considered.

AND

Educational Qualifications for “first preference”: The 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English provided that the candidate has passed in all the subjects separately.

Second preference

Candidates securing a rank in a State Level “Fashion Technology / Design” Entrance Examination (for four Year Course) of any State Government Funded Institute/University for the session 2021-22.

AND

In case of a candidate, appearing in “more than one” state examination of “Fashion Technology / Design” “the best rank” of the candidate shall be considered.

AND

Educational Qualification for the “second preference”: The 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English provided that the candidate has passed in all the subjects separately.

Third preference

Candidates with minimum 70% aggregate marks of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in 12th class in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination provided that the candidate has passed in all the subjects separately.

Notes

- Relaxation on marks scored in 10+2 applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NLC, Defence and PwD category students.

- There is no minimum or maximum age criterion.

- Candidates who have appeared at the 12th class examination and have been placed in the compartment will not be eligible for admission.

B) All Other Streams (30 seats)

First preference

Second preference

Candidates securing a rank in a State Level “Fashion Technology / Design” Entrance Examination (for a four Year Course) of any State Government Funded Institute/University for the session 2021 22.

AND

In case of a candidate, appearing in “more than one” State Level Examination of “Fashion Technology / Design” “the best rank” in the State Level Examinations of the candidate shall be considered.

AND

Educational Qualifications for B(2): Minimum 60% aggregate marks (best four including English) in 12th class examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination provided that the candidate has passed in all the subjects separately.

Third preference

Candidates with minimum 70% aggregate marks (best four including English) in 12th class in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Examination provided that the candidate has passed in all the subjects separately.

The 70% "marks criteria" is for the general category.
