NRTI 2021 Admissions : Dates Changed

National Rail And Transportation Institute (NRTI) has changed (extended) the application last date and also delayed its entrance test for 2021 admissions in its niche transportation technology and transportation management programs. Established by Indian Railways as India’s first university focused on transport and allied industries, the National Rail And Transportation Institute (NRTI) was declared a deemed to be university under de novo category vide notification No.F.9/t/zotB-U.3 (A) issued by the Ministry for Human Resource Development on July 26, 2018.

(a) BSc in Transportation Technology

(b) BBA in Transport Management

(c) B.Tech. in Rail Infrastructure Engineering (4 year)

(d) B.Tech. in Rail Systems & Communication Engineering (4 year)

(e) B.Tech. in Mechanical & Rail Engineering (4 year) (at IRIMEE Jamalpur)

Key dates for 2021 admissions

Last date to apply online (EXTENDED) : 21 Aug 2021 for BBA & BSc, 15 Sep for for  BTech

Date of online admission test : 5 Sep (tentative). Final date to be announced in due course. It was earlier planned to be conducted on 1 Aug.

Admission procedure : Admission to BBA and BSc is through an admission test (see detailed information at NRTI-UAAT-BBA and NRTI-UAAT-BSc) whereas the BTech admission is based on the rank in JEE-Mains.

Eligibility

BSc in Transportation Technology is open to Science Stream Students (Mathematics mandatory in Class XII)

BBA in Transportation Management is open to students from all Streams Mathematics mandatory in Class XII)
