Goa GCET 2021 Deferred Due to Clash With JEE-Mains

Directorate of Technical education, Goa, has deferred the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET-2021 for admission in BE and B.Pharm courses on account of its dates clashing with dates of JEE-Mains sessions 3. It had scheduled the entrance test earlier on 27 & 28 July.

Application dates : Already over

Date of entrance test : Deferred. New date will be announced atleast 5 days before the exam.

B.Arch admissionGoa GCET 2021 Deferred

Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam(Std. XIIth /HSSC/Diploma.)

BE Branches and Intake : Branch wise breakup of seats (including AICTE Tuition fee waiver seats and Management quota seats) as were offered last year (2020) are provided below for reference :

ii) Computer : 406

iii) Electronics & Telecom : 406

iv) Electronics & Communication : 63

v) Electrical & Electronics : 90

vi) Mechanical : 485

vii) Civil : 169

viii) Architecture : 79

The intake indicated above includes (a) Management quota seats, (b)seats under AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme Supernumerary quota, (c) Supernumerary Quota of 15% of the Sanctioned Intake for admissions of Foreign Nationals/PIO/Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries.
