XIM University Applications Ongoing for UG Programs
2021-07-04The application window for various UG-level programs offered by XIM University (formerly Xavier University), is currently in progress.
Started as XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar) in 1987, it carved itself a reputation as a premier Business School in India. The institute got University status in 2013. The University has its main campus in Nijigada Kurki, Harirajpur, in Puri District, and an additional campus at Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar, where the Xavier Institute of Management functions. The main campus is approximately 15kms from the Bhubaneswar airport.
XIM University now has 12 schools offering doctoral, master's, and undergraduate programs.
The UG level programs offered are;
1. B.Com/BBM (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% aggregate)
2. B.Sc. - Mass Communication (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% aggregate)
3. B.Sc. - Environmental Science (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% aggregate)
4. B.Sc. - Sustainable Development (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% aggregate)
5. B.Sc. - Economics (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% aggregate)
6. B.A.-Public Administration and Governance (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% aggregate)
7. BBA - LLB (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 45% aggregate)
8. BA - LLB (Hons.) (Eligibility: Class 12 with 45% aggregate)
9. B.Tech. - Computer Science & Engineering
Selection Procedure:
- Admission to programs 1 through 6 is on the basis of Class 10 & 12 performance and a personal interview.
- Admission to programs 7 & 8 (Law programs) is on the basis of Class 10 & 12 performance and a valid CLAT/AILET/XLET score
- Admission to B.Tech program is on the basis of CLass 10 & 12 performance and Xavier Engineering Selection Test. Candidates with JEE (Main) score 75%+ will be considered for direct admission.
Fee: The fee ranges between Rs.55,000 and Rs.65,000 per semester. (2 semesters each year)
Hostel facilities can be availed at Rs.20,000 per semester.
