CUSAT CAT 2021 New Dates Clash With ISI Entrance
2021-05-29Cochin University of Science & Technology (erstwhile University of Cochin), a State University, has announced new dates for its Common Admission Test 2021, which had to be postponed owing to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation. The admission test which was earlier scheduled to be conducted from 12 to 14 Jun 2021 shall now be conducted from 16 to 18 July 2021.

Exemption from Admission Test : For Integrated MSc (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) and Integrated MSc (Statistics / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biological Sciences), preference in admission will be given to students possessing KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) scholarship. They need not appear for CAT, but they have to apply for CAT through online and should pay the application fee.
Entrance Exams Clashing With CUSAT : Please note that CUSAT admission test has date overlap / clash with entrance test ISI-Stat-Math which is conducted by the premium Indian Statistical Institute for admission in its Bachelor of Statistics (Hons) and Bachelor of Mathematics (Hons) courses.
Reservations / All India quota
Different seat quota available for State merit, All India merit and NRIs.
State merit seats are reserved only for Keralite students.
Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply under All India merit seats.
Reservation also available under various categories like SC, ST, SEBC, Physically Challenged, Sports, Jews, NRIs, Lakshadweep Sponsored Candidates, Navy Sponsored Seats, Communal reservation etc
