IIIT-H Postpones UGEE, Application Deadline Extended

Owing to the Covid-19 situation, IIIT-H has postponed the UGEE Exam for admission to the Dual degree programs which was scheduled to be held on 2nd June.

The new date of the exam shall be announced in due course.

The application deadline has been extended to 7th June 2021. 

IIIT-H conducts admissions to 4 Year UG and 5 years integrated degree programs via the UGEE (Under Graduate Entrance Exam).  Other channels from the special channels for KVPY/Olympiad candidates, DASA (Direct Admissions for Students Abroad), SPEC, and via JEE (Main scores).

Besides the UGEE mode which is for the 5-Year integrated program, IIIT-H also offers admissions under the following channels: 
>> The admission timeline via the JEE mode (B.Tech in ECE & CSE) is open until 30th July.
>> Admission via DASA mode is open wherein eligible students have to submit their SAT scores by 16th July.
>> The admission portal for students qualified under the KVPY/Olympiad scheme is also open.
>> IIIT-H also offers B.Tech programs via the SPEC mode - the Special Channel of Admission for B.Tech programs (ECE & CSE) that are aimed at students who have qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE or studied at a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) at least for the last 2 years (11th and 12th) or are currently enrolled in 4th Semester of an integrated, six-year, 12th + B.Tech program (after the 10th class). The Last date to apply under this channel has also been extended to 7th June.
