Applications to Actuaries June Test is Ongoing

Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India and is the stepping stone for becoming an actuary.

An actuary is a business professional who analyzes the financial consequences of risk. Actuaries use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to study uncertain future events, especially those of concern to insurance and pension programs.

To become an actuary, the student must clear the Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. ACET is conducted two to three times a year.

The IAI has announced the schedule for the 2nd ACET of 2021 which will be held in June.  ACET-June-2021
- Last Date to Apply: 02 June 2021
- Date of ACET Exam: 26th June 2021

This time due to COVID-19 situation across the country, the ACET will be home-proctored, i.e., the test will be administered remotely.  The candidate can take the test from the comfort of his/her home.  However, he/she would need to adhere to the mandatory technical specification of the computer system for the home-based test. Eligibility: Students who have appeared or have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
Note:  Since the 2021 batch board exams have been postponed, only students who have taken the board exam last year, i.e. 2020 batch students can apply.
