JIPMER : Nursing and Allied Health Courses Admission via NEET-UG

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, an Institution of National Importance, has decided and notified that from 2021-22 session, admission in its BSc Nursing and Allied Health Service courses shall be on the basis of NEET-UG ranks. Till last year, it used to conduct its own entrance exam which is being done away with now.

Counselling : While NEET-UG score will be used to determine the merit rank, the Counselling and admission process shall be done by JIPMER. Candidates will need to register separately on JIPMER website for this. The procedure, dates and guidelines will be announced in due course.

Courses. Full-time Ph.D. Programs are available in eleven disciplines as on date. Master of Public Health (30 seats) Post Basic Diploma Courses in Nursing (50 Seats in five disciplines) were started in January 2014.
