BIT Ranchi : BHMCT 2021 Entrance on 27 Jun
2021-04-04Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, a premier technical institute and Deemed University, started its Department of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in 2003. The dept. offers a 4 year Bachelor degree programme in Hotel management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) approved by the AICTE.
Selection Procedure : The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in Written Test / Online Test (BIT-BHMCT) and Interview conducted by the Institute. However, candidates must meet the age criteria and other minimum academic requirements.
Academic Eligibility : Candidates must have passed Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination with English as a subject

BIT-BHMCT is a 2 Hour test, containing 100 objective type questions, covering English Language, Numerical and Data Analysis, Reasoning and Intelligence, General Knowledge.
Entrance exams clashing with BIT-BHMCT : There are five key entrance exams which have a date clash/overlap with BIT-BHMCT. These are SEED (19-27 Jun), NMIMS-NPAT (27 Jun - 4 Jul), SET-BAMC (27 Jun), SLAT (27 Jun), Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts (27 Jun)
