UPCET 2021 : NTA starts registrations, Exam on 18 May

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh (Formerly U.P. Technical University, Lucknow), used to conduct UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) till 2020, which has now been renamed as Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) and shall be henceforth conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). NTA has now started accepting applications for the same for 2021 session.

Institutions : The test shall be used for admissions in Govt. / Govt. aided institutions and private unaided Institutions affiliated to Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) and some other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh.

Who all can attempt UPCET

a) The Entrance Examination is open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P subject to the eligibility conditions given in the Information Brochure. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of the document.

b) The Entrance Examination is also open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located outside U.P. and whose parents (both Father and Mother) are not domicile of U.P. subject to the eligibility conditions given in the Information Brochure.

c) There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in UPCET-2021
