UPES EAT In June, Apply By 10 Jun
2021-04-01University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), established in the year 2003, offers specialized graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in key areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology and Legal Process.
Engineering Courses offered : (a) B.Tech (4 years) and (b) B.Tech + LLB (Hons) (6 years)
Admission criteria
a) Admission is based on merit obtained in UPES Engineering Aptitude Test UPES-EAT / JEE-Mains / Board Marks / SAT score 
b) Upto 20% seats shall be filled through Non-Exam category (10% through JEE Mains and 10% through Board Merit). In case of seats following vacant in this category; UPES has the right to fill these through UPES Examination. University also reserves the right to conduct further CBT / Pen Paper / Online test for admission.
c) Admission in BTech (comp Science)-LLB(Hons) is through ULSAT/CLAT/LSAT Indian Board Marks.
Seats for Uttarakhand residents : 15% of the seats in all programs will be reserved for residents of Uttarakhand subject to production of “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate) issued by the competent authority of Uttarakhand State. These seats will get allotted based on the merit order in this category, provided the candidate has declared his intent to opt under this category at the time of applying for admission.
