CLAT & HSEE Dates Clash
2021-02-02The exam announcement season has begun and like previous years students have to start making difficult choices of which exam to skip and which to apply.
Perhaps the most important entrance exam for students looking to pursue a career in law after class 12 is the Common Law Admission Test simply known as CLAT-2021. It is an all India entrance examination conducted for candidates seeking admission to the 5-Year Integrated B.A.LL.B/B.B.A.LL.B programs offered by the 22 National Law Universities in India. In essence, it is the JEE equivalent for Law students. Students from all streams (Humanities, Commerce & Science) prepare
and appear for this exam each year. This year CLAT-2021 is scheduled to be held on 13th June 2021.
On 13th June, yet another key entrance exam called HSEE-2021 or the Humanities & Social Sciences Entrance Exam is scheduled to be held. HSEE is conducted by IIT-Madras and is the qualifying exam for admissions to the highly regarded 5-Year Integrated M.A. in a) Development Studies and b) English Studies. And many students, especially from Humanities, look forward to this opportunity.
So, two key entrance exams, CLAT-2021, and HSEE-2021 are scheduled to be held on the 13th of June and unfortunately, students who are keen to pursue both these premium options will have to make a difficult choice.
