In order to bring further clarity to students, National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) for JEE Mains 2021, which will be conducted in 4 Sessions this year, in the month February, March, April and May 2021. FAQs answer some of the key concerns of students.

JEE (Mains) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions. This yea onwards, UP state shall also admit students based on JEE-Mains and has decided to scrap its state level entrance exam UPSEE (for engineering admissions). JEE (Mains) is also an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.

Language options : This year, NTA is offering option of taking the test in as many as 13 languages, as listed below :
