Goa GCET 2021 Date Announced, Medical admissions via NEET

Directorate of Technical education, Goa, has announced that for admission in BE and B.Pharm courses in the academic session 2021-22, it shall conduct the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET-2021 on 4 & 5 May 2021 in various Centres, across Goa State, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths, based on Std. XIIth syllabus of Goa Board,

Additionally, it has also notified that admission in Medical & related courses shall be done through NEET-UG-2021.

Date for GCET 2021 for BE and B.Pharm

Test 1 (Physics) : 2 hours, 4 May 2021

Test 2 (Chemistry) : 2 hours, 4 May 2021

Test 3 (Maths) : 2 hours, 5 May 2021

Students aspiring for admission only to B.Pharm course need not answer Mathematics subject at GCET-2021.

B.Arch admission Goa GCET 2021 Dates, Medcail Admission through NEET 2021

Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam(Std. XIIth /HSSC/Diploma.)

Branch wise breakup of seats (including AICTE Tuition fee waiver seats and Management quota seats) as were offered last year (2020) are provided below for reference :

i) Information Technology : 248

ii) Computer : 406

iii) Electronics & Telecom : 406

iv) Electronics & Communication : 63

v) Electrical & Electronics : 90

vi) Mechanical : 485

vii) Civil : 169

viii) Architecture : 79

The intake indicated above includes (a) Management quota seats, (b)seats under AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme Supernumerary quota, (c) Supernumerary Quota of 15% of the Sanctioned Intake for admissions of Foreign Nationals/PIO/Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries.

Admission in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Paramedical, Nursing, BVSc & AH

All students seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS(Homeopathy), BAMS(Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences(Paramedical), B.Sc. in Nursing & B.V.Sc.&A.H. courses in the State of Goa in academic year 2021-22 are required to appear and qualify at NEET UG-2021 (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test, conducted by National Testing Agency NTA).

Notes

1. Detailed schedule and prospectus has not yet been released.

2. The above notified admission norms(including schedule) would be reviewed and revised appropriately, with Government approval, if Hon’ble Supreme Court, MHRD, MCI, AICTE or any other regulatory body, issues mandatory provisions regarding admissions to any of the above Professional Courses, and makes it compulsorily applicable for admissions to the above courses, for year 2021-22.
