2020-11-22Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) (formerly University of Pune) in collaboration with Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) Mumbai offers a 3 -Year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Gems & Jewellery Design, the 2020 admissions to which shall be through a Common Entrance Test.
About the course
a) This is an exhaustive course in Jewellery education, the focus being to integrate your knowledge of India’s famous Gems & Jewellery industry, with the right blend of Theoretical and Practical lessons. The Course is designed for the Ambitious, Enthusiastic and Determined Career Seeking Students to enter the Jewellery industry as a Jewellery Professional.
b) The course will be conducted at two different places (SPPU and IIGJ, Mumbai). Batch intake is of 50 students. Reservations as per Government of Maharashtra’s existing rules will be applicable.
c) This is a self-supporting course and all students are required to pay full fees including reservation category students.
d) Bank loan facility will be provided on need basis OR Financial loans shall be facilitated through bank tie-ups by IIGJ.
e) No hostel facility on SPPU campus will be provided.
Eligibility : Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Std. 12) or an equivalent to 10+2 education examination from any stream from any statutory board of education in India.
