UCEED 2021 : Applications close on 15 Nov2020-11-13
Applications for UCEED-2021 (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design) conducted by IIT Bombay are in progress and shall close on 15 Nov 2020. IIT Bombay has specified that this is a Final Extension for online registration with late fee. No further request for extension will be entertained.
This Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions in the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. UCEED score are also accepted by many other leading institutes for admission in their BDesign programme.
Important note regarding admission eligibility
i) Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply to all the four institutes.
ii) Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.
Multiple universities accept admissions to their design programs on the basis of the UCEED scores.
UCEED-2021 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor Degree program in Design (BDes) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) must appear in UCEED-2021.
Who can apply : Candidates who are expected to write their Class 12 exams in 2021 and also those who have passed Class 12 in 2020 may apply for UCEED 2021.

Type of Exam
UCEED is a 3-hour test center-based examination and has two parts : Part-A is computer-based and Part-B contains question-related to sketching that needs to be attempted on the provided sheet. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts in the given time.
