UCEED 2021 application date extended

Admissions in the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur are done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED), the applications for which are ongoing and the last date has been extended. UCEED is conducted by IIT Bombay each year.
UCEED 2021 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign). Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor Degree program in Design (BDes) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) must appear in UCEED 2021.
Who can apply : Candidates who are expected to write their Class 12 exams in 2021 and also those who have passed Class 12 in 2020 may apply for UCEED 2021.
Important note regarding admission eligibility
i) Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply to all the four institutes.
ii) Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.
Multiple universities accept admissions to their design programs on the basis of the UCEED scores.

Last Date to Apply without Late Fee : 17th October 2020
Last Date to Apply with a late fine of Rs.500 : 24th October 2020
UCEED 2021 Examination : 17th January 2021
Type of Exam
UCEED is a 3-hour test center-based examination and has two parts : Part-A is computer-based and Part-B contains question-related to sketching that needs to be attempted on the provided sheet. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts in the given time.
