The Institute of Professional Studies, set up in May 2000 by the Executive Council of the University of Allahabad, invites applications for admission in its 6 Vocational courses as listed below (for Session 2020-21).
1. BVoc (Software Development) 3 Years degree course
Intake : 40 seats
Eligibility : 10+2 Science Maths group
Fee structure : Rs.25,000/- per semester + Rs2,000/- (refundable Caution deposit)
2. BVoc (Media Production) 3 Years degree course
Intake : 40 seats
Eligibility : 10+2 any stream
Fee structure : Rs.25,000/- per semester + Rs2,000/- (refundable Caution deposit)
3. BVoc (Crafts Studies) 3 Years degree course, Only for females
Intake : 40 seats
Eligibility : 10+2 any stream
Fee structure : Rs.25,000/- per semester + Rs2,000/- (refundable Caution deposit)
4. BVoc (Lifestyle Design) 3 Years degree course, Only for females
Intake : 40 seats
Eligibility : 10+2 any stream
Fee structure : Rs.25,000/- per semester + Rs2,000/- (refundable Caution deposit)
5. Diploma (Computing & Peripherals) 1 Year course
Intake : 30 seats
Eligibility : 10+2 Science Maths group
Fee structure : Rs.30,000/- for full course + Rs2,000/- (refundable Caution deposit)
5. Diploma (Network & Storage) 1 Year course
Intake : 30 seats
Eligibility : 10+2 Science Maths group
Fee structure : Rs.30,000/- for full course + Rs2,000/- (refundable Caution deposit)
Admission & application procedure : The admission for the Academic Session 2020-21 shall be done strictly on the basis of merit only which will include 10+2 Board marks and performance in a personal interview. For interview the applicants have to report at the Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines Campus, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj - 211002 with original certificates and mark-sheets.
The Registration Forms along with information booklet can be downloaded from the website. The forms can also be obtained from the respective centres given in Table-01 of the information brochure.
A demand draft (DD) of Rs. 800.00 (Rupees Eight hundred only) for General/OBC candidates and Rs.400.00 (Rupees Four Hundred Only) for SC/ST candidates in the name of Director, Admissions – 2020 payable at Prayagraj is to be enclosed with the duly filled application forms. In absence of the draft the form shall be summarily rejected.
The duly filled form has to be submitted at the Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines Campus, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj – 211 002, between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on office days.
