NERIST announces NEE 2020 date

In light of the extraordinary circumstances arising out of COVID-19 pandemic, the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), a Deemed University in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, had postponed its entrance exam NEE 2020 for admission in its 4 Year Degree programmes. Earlier scheduled to be held on 1 Aug 2020, the Entrance Exam will now be held on 10 Oct 2020.
NERIST is a unique Institute in the country having unconventional and innovative academic programmes. It is autonomous and fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.
Courses offered : B.Tech (Agricultural, Civil, Computer Science & Engg, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical) and 4 Year BSc (Forestry)

Date of Entrance Exam : 10 Oct 2020 (10AM to 1PM)
Admit card : Candidates can download their Admit Cards from 25 Sep 2020 onwards
About the exam : The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted at three Levels viz., NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III for admissions to Base Module, & Degree Module of Engineering & Technology branches of Technology stream; and to Degree Module of Forestry stream through NEE-II (PCB).
Placements : The Placement Cell imparts in-house training to the students through IIT Bombay. The Cell also organizes visits of executives of leading Public and Private Sector companies like IBM, DELL, and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Etc, to the Institute, under industry-institute interaction programmes, to deliver lectures on career development and prospects of placement in their organizations to the students.
