2020-09-03

Owing to the lockdown situation, Indian Statistical Institute had to postpone its Entrance Test 2020 and release of Admit Cards for admission to the two Undergraduate BSc courses. As the exam date is approaching, it has released the Admit Cards which can now be downloaded. Interestingly, ISI has also changed the selection criteria this year.

Courses offered : ISI offers premium Bachelor of Statistics (Hons) at Kolkata and Bachelor of Mathematics (Hons) at Bengaluru.

Key dates

Availability of Admit Card : 1 Sep 2020 (5PM Onwards)

Date of Entrance Test : 20 Sep 2020

Change in selection criteria

As per earlier notification, besides the written test, there was an interview of 10 marks. ISI has now decided not to conduct interviews and hence the selection merit list will be based entirely on the score obtained in the written Entrance Test.

The written test consists of 2 papers :

Paper 1 (2 hours) : 30 Multiple choice objective type questions, Maximum 120 marks

Paper 2 (2 hours) contains 8 descriptive type questions, Maximum 80 marks
