About the College : College of Art is an institution established in 1942 for advanced training in Fine Arts. Affiliated to the University of Delhi, the BFA Degree offered is of four-year duration. The College is under the Faculty of Music &Fine Arts for academic matters and is administered by the Government of NCT of Delhi. The objective of the teaching programs and training are to achieve overall refinement of the student’s perception, not confined to the skills of the profession alone, but also to create the right kind of intellect as well as emotional cultivation to arrive at a level of composite creativity and thought.
Selection criteria : Admissions to undergraduate (BFA) courses are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) and marks obtained in entrance test.
(a) Weightage of 60% marks will be given for General Knowledge and Fine Arts Aptitude Test (COLART-AT).
(b) Weightage of 40% marks will be given for marks secured by the candidate in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
