CLAT-2020 on Sept 07, Clashes with IPM IIM-Indore Exam

2020-08-10

In an announcement on 10th August, the General Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities that the CLAT-2020 for both UG and PG candidates will be held on 7th, September 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The CLAT-2020 shall be conducted through a centre-based, online computer-based test.  In effect, the candidates will need to go to a designated centre in their city or a nearby city and appear for the computer-based exam.

Candidates may note that the CLAT-2020 is being held just a day after the JEE-Main ends on 6th September. The date (07th September)  also clashes with IPM Exam conducted by IIM-Indore that offers admission to the 5-year integrated program in management.   Candidates aiming for both options now will have to make a judicious choice of appearing in one exam as both IPM and CLAT are being conducted in the afternoon of 07th September.

The Consortium is in the process of securing permissions from authorities which would enable Admit Cards of candidates shall be considered as Movement Passes by local authorities to allow candidates to move between Containment zones and travel to their designated examination centre.

Admit Cards of the candidates indicating the Roll number and Centre shall be available for download from the website (https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in) in 2 weeks time.
