NERIST to announce new NEE 2020 dates in Sep

In light of the extraordinary circumstances arising out of COVID-19 pandemic, the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), a Deemed University in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, has postponed its entrance exam NEE 2020 for admission in its 4 Year Degree programmes. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on 1 Aug 2020.
NERIST is a unique Institute in the country having unconventional and innovative academic programmes. It is autonomous and fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.
Courses offered : B.Tech (Agricultural, Civil, Computer Science & Engg, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical) and 4 Year BSc (Forestry)
About the exam : The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted at three Levels viz., NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III for admissions to Base Module, & Degree Module of Engineering & Technology branches of Technology stream; and to Degree Module of Forestry stream through NEE-II (PCB).
Revised dates : The revised schedule of entrance exam and other related dates are expected to be announced in the second week of Sep 2020.
Placements : The Placement Cell imparts in-house training to the students through IIT Bombay. The Cell also organizes visits of executives of leading Public and Private Sector companies like IBM, DELL, and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Etc, to the Institute, under industry-institute interaction programmes, to deliver lectures on career development and prospects of placement in their organizations to the students.
