BITSAT 2020 to be conducted from 16 Sep

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani offers admission in its various Undergraduate and Integrated First Degree programmes offered across all campuses (Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus) through its All India Admission Test BITSAT-2020, which is now scheduled to be conducted from 16 Sep onwards. Earlier, it was scheduled to be conducted from 6 to 10 Aug 2020. However, owing to the prevailing pandemic situation, it had to be postponed many times.

New dates

Date of admission test : 16 to 18 Sep 2020, 21 to 23 Sep 2020

Dates for Test slot booking, Hall ticket download and other related activities will be announced in due course.

Initially, BITSAT-2020 was scheduled to be conducted from 16 to 25 May but dates for various activities including conduct of the test had to be progressively changed because of the Covid-19 related lockdowns.

Programmes offered : Besides Engineering, BITS offers B.Pharm and Integrated MSc programmes in basic sciences (PCMB) and also in Economics. Programmes to which admissions are made on the basis of BITSAT are as below :

(i) at BITS, Pilani Campus

B.E.: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing

B.Pharm.

*M.Sc. : Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics

and

M.Sc.: General Studies.

(ii) at BITS, K. K. Birla Goa Campus:

B.E.: Chemical, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical

*M.Sc.: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics.

(iii) at BITS, Hyderabad Campus:

B.E.: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical

B.Pharm.

*M.Sc.: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics

* The candidates who joins in M.Sc. programme are eligible to apply for dual degree in Engineering at BITS Pilani after completion of one year.
