In view of evolving COVID-19 outbreak and issues related to travel restrictions and social distancing, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) has decided to increase the number of cities for Entrance Examination for admission in BSc (H) Nursing to minimize the travel need for candidates.
All eligible candidates should login & re-choose the city for examination. For candidates who do not choose the examination city during the above schedules, it will be assumed that their earlier choice is to be considered.
Additionally, it has also now announced the new dates for conduct of the entrance exam.
New dates for BSc (H) Nursing Entrance Exam
Last date for Re-choice of the City of Examination : 4 Aug 2020 (upto 5PM)
Date of hosting of Admit cards (expected date) : 13 Aug 2020
Date of entrance exam : 21 Aug 2020
Date of result declaration : 27 Aug 2020
7 AIIMS offering BSc (H) Nursing : Under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana 6 new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have been established similar to AIIMS, New Delhi. Government of India decided that from Academic Session August, 2013, BSc (H) Nursing course will be started in six new AIIMS at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh.
No. of seats and reservation
(i) 77 at Delhi (39 Unreserved, 12 for SC, 5 for ST, 21 for OBC)
(ii) 100 in Rishikesh and 60 each at rest of the AIIMS (15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC).
(iii) For Indian nationals, 5% reservation for Person with Benchmark disability will be provided on horizontal basis, in the seat available. Eligibility criteria for candidates under PWBD category will be as per guidelines issued by respective competent authorities as amended from time to time will be applicable in this regard.
Stipend : Stipend of Rs.500/- per month shall be paid to all students
