Savitribai Phule Pune University has extended the last date of application for 2020 admissions in UG and PG courses. Savitribai Phule Pune University, also just known as Pune University, is one of the premier Universities in India. It is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. Established in 1949, this State University is home to 46 academic departments, has about 307 recognized research institutes and 612 affiliated colleges.
Course offered : 5 Year Integrated MSc (Biotechnology)
This Biotechnology program is offered by the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology (IBB). IBB was established in 2002 and is funded by the UGC.
Intake : 30 seats
Selection criteria : Selection for admission shall be on the basis of merit rank in Entrance Exam.

Last date of application (EXTENDED) : 10 Aug 2020
Date of Entrance Exam : The exam was earlier planned to be conducted in first week of August but has now been postponed owing to the pandemic situation. It is now planned to be held in Sep 2020 subject to conducive situation. Date and time of exam will be announced later on SPPU website.
