VITEEE 2020 Cancelled

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has decided to cancel the entrance exam VITEEE 2020 and instead grant admissions based on marks scored in qualifying examination. JEE (Mains) qualified candidates will be given weightage.
Changed admission criteria : The admission will be based on +2 / Pre-University marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. Those who scored in JEE (Main) will be given weightage. The forms for providing the marks and JEE (Main) scores have already been provided in the VIT Website.
Next steps : Applicants are required to update their VITEEE applications at the earliest. In case the results of the Board Examination taken are not declared, they may upload the marks as soon as the results are available.

Key dates : While the applications window has been reopened, VIT has not yet announced the last date for completion of various application activities. It has also not yet published the date for declaration of selection list / counselling.
