India Rankings 2020 : Check the top ranked Colleges and Universities

Ministry of Human resource Development, Govt of India, has announced the latest NIRF 2020 Rankings.
9 out of the top 10 slots are taken by IITs, with NIT Tiruchirapalli taking the 9th rank in ENGINEERING, .
In MEDICAL, AIIMS at first position is followed by PGIMER Chandigarh, CMC Vellore, NIMHANS Bengaluru, SGPGI Lucknow and BHU Varanasi.
In LAW, National Law School of India University (Bengaluru) tops the chart with NLU Delhi being at number 2.
Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru retains the Top Slot again in UNIVERSITY ranking.
In OVERALL category, the chart is again dominated by IITs !
NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) was started in Sep 2015. To start with, this framework was defined for Engineering and Management institutions but has been gradually expanded to many other domains and now ranks institutes / universities in different domains. The rankings are arrived at by taking into account the following five parameters :
- Teaching & Learning Resources
- Research & Professional Practice
- Graduation Outcome
- Outreach and Inclusivity
- Perception
