CET Karnataka 2020 to be conducted from 30 July to 1 Aug

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has decided to conduct its State Level Common Entrance Test (CET-K) 2020 starting from 30 July. The application date was extended and the exam also had to be rescheduled owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Courses offered

(i) B.Tech (Including Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Agriculture Engineering)

(ii) B.Arch

(iii) B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.F.Sc (Fisheries), B.Sc. (Hons) Agri. Marketing & Co‐Op

(iv) Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & A.H.)

Domicile : Candidates who satisfy one of the 15 specified clauses / eligibility criteria only are eligible for selection / allotment of government seats. Pls read the same carefully before applying (as per Section 12 in the prospectus).

Test date (Bio & Maths as applicable) : 30 Jul 2020

Test date (Phy and Chem) : 31 Jul 2020

Kannada language test (select candidates) : 1 Aug 2020

CET-K pattern

The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the First and Second PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.

There will be 4 papers of 1 hour 20 minutes each for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology in independent sessions.

Additionally, there will be a 1 hour Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (conducted at select test centres).
