New Date Announced for NERIST Entrance Exam NEE 2020
2020-05-23The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), a Deemed University in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, has rescheduled its entrance exam NEE 2020 on 1 Aug 2020 for admission in its 4 Year Degree programmes. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on 18 April.
NERIST is a unique Institute in the country having unconventional and innovative academic programmes. It is autonomous and fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.

About the exam : The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted at three Levels viz., NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III for admissions to Base Module, & Degree Module of Engineering & Technology branches of Technology stream; and to Degree Module of Forestry stream through NEE-II (PCB).
Placements : The Placement Cell imparts in-house training to the students through IIT Bombay. The Cell also organizes visits of executives of leading Public and Private Sector companies like IBM, DELL, and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Etc, to the Institute, under industry-institute interaction programmes, to deliver lectures on career development and prospects of placement in their organizations to the students.
