JIPMER Delays Start of Applications for Nursing, BASLP and BSc Allied Medical Services Admissions 2020

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, an Institution of National Importance, has announced postponement of start of applications process for 2020 admissions in its Nursing and Allied Medical Services courses. However, no change in date of entrance exam has been announced.

Application dates : To be announced. Earlier, the application process was planned to be started on 21 April and was to end on 20 May 2020

Date of entrance exam : 21 June 2020 (TENTATIVE)

About JIPMER : Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) under Government of India since the year 1956, is one of the leading Medical Institutions of India. Spread over 195 acre campus in Puducherry (formerly Pondicherry),  JIPMER is 170kms. by road from Chennai. Super Specialty departments of Cardiology, Neurology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Critical care, Neonatology, Clinical Immunology, Clinical Pharmacology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology, Endocrinology, Surgical Oncology and Surgical Gastroenterology also offer D.M./ M.Ch. Courses. Full-time Ph.D. Programs are available in eleven disciplines as on date. Master of Public Health (30 seats) Post Basic Diploma Courses in Nursing (50 Seats in five disciplines) were started in January 2014.
