FDDI Postpones AIST 2020, Extends Last Date of Application

In light of lockdown due to COVID-19, FDDI (Footwear Design & Development Institute) has postponed its AllIndia Screening Test AIST 2020 and also extended the last date for application for the same. The date of entrance exam (earlier scheduled for 25 May) and other admission related activities will be announced in due course.

Last date of application : 31 May 2020

Date for editing the application : 1 & 2 June, 2020

Date of AIST exam and other admission related activities : To be announced in due course

Courses & campuses : Footwear Design & Development Institute was established in 1986, under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. It offers 2 niche courses :

(1) 4 Year Bachelor of Design in (a) Footwear Design & Production (b) Leather Goods & Accessories Design (c) Fashion Design

(2) 3 Year Bachelor of Business Administration (Retail & Fashion Merchandise)

FDDI is an Institution of National Importance and has Pan India Presence with 12 state-of art campuses spread across the country (Ankleshwar, Noida, Rohtak,  Kolkata, Fursatganj, Chennai, Jodhpur, Chhindwara, Patna, Chandigarh, Guna, Hyderabad). It is amongst the four Institutes in the world offering higher education in Footwear and Product Design, Manufacturing and Management.
