Panjab Univ PUTHAT 2020 for Admission in Hotel Management and Tourism & Travel Mgt
2020-04-04Panjab University offers (a) 4 years Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and (b) 4 years Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) in as University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management, Chandigarh. The admission to both the courses is through the admission test PUTHAT, the application process for which has been started.
Course wise intake
(a) Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) : 60 + 6 NRI +3 Foreign Nationals)
(b) 4 years Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) : 30 +3 NRI + 2 Foreign Nationals

(iii) Wards of Kashmiri Displaced Persons
(iv) Rural Area Students

Eligibility : The Panjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) is open to all such candidates who have passed (up to the Academic Session 2019-2020) in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/BC/PwD Categories) in the aggregate and English as one of the Compulsory Subjects.
