CAUTION : JEE-Adv 2020 and AMU B.Tech 2020 Entrance Exam on Same Date
2020-01-21The entrance exam for admissions in B.Tech in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is scheduled to be held on 17 May 2020,which is the same as the date of JEE-Advanced. This has put students in a fix since AMU is one of the oldest premier Central Universities of India while JEE-Advanced is the route to premium IITs and other CFTIs.
It is not surprising to see such exam date clashes. Many other exams have date overlaps. However, in some cases, a student can manage to attempt exams of her choice since there is flexibility of selecting date of exam within a given dates window. But unfortunately, this is not the case in AMU and JEE-Adv this year.

Exam date of AIST-FFDI and JEE-Adv fall within the exam date window of BITSAT.
Exams dates of COMEDK clash/overlap with exam dates of NPAT, UPSEE, ISI, JEHOM, MAH-HM-CET, CLAT
So what next ?
It remains to be seen whether AMU will change the date of exam or NTA will change it for JEE-Adv … or will the students be left to forego one of these two ?!
