Indian Statistical Institute Admission Schedule 2020
2020-01-14The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), an Institute of National Importance, has announced the application and exam date schedule for admission in its premium BSc courses in Mathematics and Statistics (ISI-Stat-Math).
Courses offered : B Stat (Hons) at Kolkata and B Math (Hons) at Bengaluru
Selection procedure : Selection of candidates is based on merit as judged by their performance in written tests and interviews conducted by ISI. Past academic record may also be taken into consideration.
Key dates
Last date of application : 8 March 2020
Date of ISI-Stat-Math entrance exam : 10 May 2020
Stipend : Rs.3,000/- per month. Plus another Rs.3,000/- per year as contingency/books grant. ISI grants stipends in the first instance for one semester/ academic year only. They are renewed periodically if the progress of the student is found satisfactory.
No tuition fee : Non-sponsored candidates are not required to pay any tuition fee for any of the programmes.
