NIFT Starts 2020 Admissions in Design & Fashion Technology
2019-10-23NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) has started the admission process for 2020 intake in its flagship programs in fashion design and fashion technology. NIFT was setup in 1986 under the aegis ofthe Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Today, NIFT is a Premier Institute of Design Management and Technology in the Fashion Business in India and is recognised worldwide.
NIFT has 16 campuses across India and conducts all India level entrance examination for admissions into its following undergraduate programs:
4 Years Bachelors of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) offered across 12 campuses. For B.F.Tech, candidates need to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths in their Class 11 & 12.
4 Years Bachelors in Design (B.Design) offered across 16 campuses. B.Design programs are open to candidates from any stream.
B.Design is offered in following specializations: Fashion Design (FD), Leather Design (LD), Accessory Design (AD), Textile Design (TD), Knitwear Design (KD), Fashion Communication (FC)
In all, NIFT offers 2862 seats in B.Design and 518 seats in B.F.Tech.
Last date to apply to NIFT is 31st December, 2019.
Entrance Exam will be held across 32 cities on 19th January, 2020.
