Shri  Vishwakarma Skill University, Haryana, invites applications for 2019 admissions in its Bachelor of Vocation courses offered in multiple disciplines, in collaboration with industry and academia.

The University also offers Certificate, Diploma Master level courses.

About the University : Shri Vishwakarma Skill University is India’s very first Skill University, setup by the Government of Haryana  at Dudhola village in Palwal district.

This University will focus on meeting the skill demands of the State in the current and emerging areas of various sectors such as manufacturing, textile, automobile, IT, healthcare, construction, banking & finance, marketing, hospitality, agriculture, etc. Experiential learning will be enabled through flexible entry & exit, credit accumulation & transferability and blended learning methodologies of simulation & gamification. Focus on 'Entrepreneurship and Skills of Tomorrow' will also form an important prerogative of the University.

Thus, the University aims to address the complete value chain of skill education with multipronged approach of:

· Feeder Schools at Secondary Education level

· Finishing Schools for Graduating and Post Graduating students

· Industry aligned work study program promoting 'earn-while-learn' model

· Incubation Centres for 'Entrepreneurship and Skills of Tomorrow'; and

· Continuous Learning Programmes

To facilitate this approach, the University is partnering with Industry, State & Central departments. In this direction SVSU has released its researched Vision Document and already signed more than 50 MOUs with Corporate, institutions & industries to start the Certificate, Diploma & Graduate programs based on dual education model, where apprenticeship/ OJT is integrated with Vocational Education and students also have an opportunity of earning stipend during the OJT.

10+2 (PCM)*

10+2 an d L4 certificate in relevant field

OR

10th plus (2 Years or 3 Years) Diploma

OR

10th plus I.T.I. ( 2 Years) with one language subject (Hindi or English)

b) Age : Min 18 to Max 30 years as on 1 July 2019 (3 years relaxation for BC and 5 years for SC)

b) Number of questions : Total 70 with following topic wise breakup :

5 questions in English Language

15 questions in Verbal reasoning

15 questions in Quantitative Aptitude & Data Analysis

5 questions in NSQF framework

10 questions in General Knowledge

10 questions in GK and Current Affairs of Haryana

10 questions in General Science

c) Type : Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) of one mark each.

d) There will be no negative marking

Application : Candidates will submit their Application Forms online on the University's website www.svsu.ac.in for admission to various programmes. Application fee is Rs200/- (exempted for SC, PwD and Females).
