IISER 2019 Applications Started
2019-04-01The seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) have started their 2019 UG admissions process from 31st March. IISERs come under the Ministry of HRD and are a set of independent premier science, technology and engineering institutes that offer their own degrees after graduation,
The seven IISERs are at:
Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati
All IISERs offer an integrated 5 year BS-MS Program in Baic sciences followed by a research opportunity in the final year.
Only IISER Bhopal offers 4 year BS program in Engineering Stream: Chemical Engineering, Data Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Humanities and Social Science discipline (Economic Sciences) : Students must have taken mathematics in (10+2). The training during the programme enables students to pursue careers in academia, industry or government organizations.
Mode of selection is via three channels
1) KVPY channel 2) JEE-Advanced channel and 3) SCB Channel.
The last date to apply is 28th April for SCB channel.
The date of exam is 2nd July, 2019
