Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) College of Engineering is established by Tech Mahindra of the Mahindra Group, in collaboration with Ecole Centrale Paris (now CentraleSupelec) and JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) Hyderabad. The B.Tech degree is awarded by JNTU. MEC is the flagship venture of Mahindra Educational Institutions.
Intake : 60 for Indian Nationals, 9 for PIO / NRI (in every stream)
Eligibility
(a) For Indian students
10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60% OR as per AICTE norms aggregate marks in all subjects OR equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board.
Qualify in JEE (MAIN) 2019 examination and be eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2019 OR Top All India rank in JEE ( MAIN ) 2019 examination ( Exact cut off rank would be announced upon announcement of results ).
OR
A valid SAT Subject test Score (which should include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) – minimum 1800
(b) For Students under PIO/NRI category
10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60% OR as per AICTE Norms- as Essential Qualification
Aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board
Desirable Qualifications A valid SAT Subject test Score (which should include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) - minimum 1800
Application procedure
Step-1
Applications for 2019 are now open.
Upload the candidate’s latest scanned photograph at the time of Online Registration.
Follow the instructions for payment for Registration and processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Indian applicants) or $50 (PIO / NRI applicants) on the website.
Step-2
Bring the acknowledgement with the Photo ID Proof to the college. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following : Passport / Driving Licence / College Identity Card / Credit Card with photograph / Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card
At the time of the counseling and branch allotment, it is mandatory to produce photo identity as described above. An authorized person will verify and authenticate your acknowledgement against the photo-id. Please preserve this authenticated Acknowledgement for further selection process.
JEE (Main)-2019/ valid SAT Score will remain valid for admission to MEC B.Tech programme for the academic year of 2019-20.

Last date to apply for 1st Phase for counseling through JEE Main score : 10 May 2019
Last Date for Receiving Applications for Admissions : 07 July 2019
Note : Physical presence of Indian students is essential for the counselling session. For PIO/NRI applicants, the counseling and branch allocation sessions will be arranged through Skype/video conference.
1st Phase counseling based on JEE main score is likely to be in the last week of May 2019 or the first week of June 2019.
Fee structure
(A) Indian Nationals students
1. Rs. 4,00,000 Per Annum ( Includes Tuition Fees, Library Fees, Lab Fees, Academic and Other Fees )
(a) The fees can be paid maximum in two installments.
(b) One time Caution Money, College-Rs.10,000
2. Hostel and Mess charges - Rs.1,50,000 Per Annum, Gymkhana Fees - Rs 25,000 Per Annum, Caution Money - Hostel Rs.10,000
(B) PIO/NRI
1. Annual Academic Fees- $ 8000 Per Annum
(a) The fees can be paid maximum in two installments
(b) Caution Money- College-$200
2. Hostel and Mess charges - $2,800 Per Annum, Gymkhana Facilities $400 Per Annum, Caution Money Hostel - $200
