2019-01-18National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, has started accepting applications for its Entrance Exam 2019 for admission in Nursing and allied courses.
Courses offered : (a) 4 Yr BSc Nursing (b) 3 Year B.Sc in Anaesthesia Technology (c) 3 Year B.Sc in Radiography
The Government of India established the All India Institute of Mental Health in 1954 in association with the then existing Mental Hospital of the Government of Karnataka. These were amalgamated into an autonomous Institute and thus the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) came into existence in 1974. NIMHANS has been declared as an Institute of National Importance.
