SRMJEEE 2019 clashes with JEE-Mains-II, Applications started
2018-11-03SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) Joint Entrance Exam for Engineering (SRMJEEE) 2019 to be conducted in April 2019 has date clash with JEE Mains II, 2019. In fact it also clashes with atleast 3 more entrance exams ! However, it ir worth noting that any candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn't take SRMJEEE.
SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE UG) is a common entrance exam for admission in SRM Group of Universities viz., SRM Institute of Science & Technology Chennai, SRM University HARYANA – Sonipat and SRM University ANDHRA PRADESH - Amravati.

SRMJEEE : 15 to 25 April 2019
JEE Mains II : 6 to 20 April 2019
Other 3 exams with which SRMJEE has date clash : AEEE, NIRMA-BDes, NDA-I.
It is advised that SRMJEEE test date option be exercised carefully to avoid clash with JEE Mains II.

Eligibility for B.Des. Program (Duration : 4 Years)
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent in academic stream having a minimum total aggregate of 55%.
Eligibility for B.Arch. Program (Duration: 5 Years)
Candidate must have a pass in 10+2 with 50% aggregate, Mathematics as compulsory subject.
A pass in National Aptitude test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
Note: No separate entrance examination will be conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University). However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch. program.
